Scott Delius graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1991, earning a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in political science. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Chancellor's Citation for Extraordinary Campus Leadership and Service. He then obtained his real estate license and worked for three years in real estate sales, marketing and appraisal.

Mr. Delius earned his law degree in 1997 from the University of Memphis, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and was one of three students selected to be a member of the Wagner labor law national moot court team.

Mr. Delius started his legal career at one of the largest and most respected insurance defense law firms in Atlanta. He gained extensive litigation experience defending corporations, business owners and insurance companies. His practice continued with another insurance defense firm, where his clients included trucking companies, automobile accident defendants and retail businesses.

Prior to starting his own law practice, Mr. Delius spent a total of six years evaluating and defending cases for insurance companies. That experience makes him especially well suited to represent individuals and gives him a unique litigation perspective.
